OUTCASK SPECIALTY CASK STOUTCASK
A full circle project. In 2022 we sent over our very first decanted barrel of rum "Bungholio" followed closely by 11 of its mates, to our good friends at Mountain Culture Brewery.
This was for our very first collab Stout "angels' share"
Little did everyone know we took this barrel back after Angels' Share Stout was decanted and filled it with already 2 year old Outcask Rum aging it for a further 2 years in the ex-Angels' Share Stout Cask resulting in a bold, complex rum with notes of roasted malt, subtle espresso and chocolate. Giving a long warming dry finish that invites you in for the next sip. As a limited-batch, one-off offering, once it's gone, it's gone!
VIOLET RUMBLE RUM BARREL-AGED STOUT WITH HONEYCOMB
Our annual collaboration with the legends at Mountain Culture is back!
Violet Rumble begins as a decadent Imperial Stout, patiently aged in Karu’s Outcask Rum barrels. Over time, the beer draws out layers of rich rum character, warming spice, vanilla and toasted oak, while the barrel, stout and rum slowly become one very delicious thing.
Beneath it all sits a rich base of roasted malt, dark chocolate and freshly brewed espresso, finished with honeycomb for a delicate caramel sweetness that softens the roast and complements the rum-soaked oak.
Deep, complex and unapologetically indulgent, this is a stout made for slowing down and discovering something new with every sip.
PICKUP HOURS: Monday - Friday, 10am - 6pm.
