SAVANNAH GIN PRE-RELEASE:
The cheetahs are getting their visas checked and boarding passes ready.
Enjoy a Savannah G&T and chakalaka while you wait.
After helping create Savannah Gin, those beautiful botanicals still had plenty left to give.
So, in true Karu fashion, we handed the spent botanicals over to the oh-so clever Ziggy Wildfoods, who turned them into Karu Culinary Chakalaka.
A savoury, spicy South African vegetable relish packed with layers of botanical flavour, made with a little less waste and no preservatives.
Spoon it onto steak. Add it to roasted veggies. Load it onto a grazing board: BOOM! Chakalaka!
